As from 1st May free bus travel will be available on all routes, except route 5, for all residents of Gibraltar and those holding Gibraltar ID cards.
This will also include MoD personnel posted there.

Free Bus Service in Gibraltar
The Government has introduced a new bus service. It is a fantastic way to encourage more people to leave their cars at home and for visiters to walk across the border with only one fare to pay.
The new routes will be numbered from 1 to 5.
Routes 1, 2, 3 and 4 will provide a free service for all passengers at all times.
Routes 1 to 4 will cover all points in Gibraltar, except a journey to and from the frontier.
Route 5, which will be operated jointly by the Gibraltar Bus Company Limited and Calypso Transport Limited, will be the only fare paying route.
This route will operate from the Frontier via Market Place to Reclamation Road and return to the frontier via Europort Avenue, Waterport Road and Market Place. Please note that if you are over 60, you will pay less on the number 5 route.
